The Queens of Tuckaway

I know that you're hoping this is a post about me....who wouldn't, right? But it's really just a bunch of photos of the stars of Spring here at Tuckaway.....the magnolias!!!! 

These beauties are truly the queens, and we had a perfect Spring for them this year, cool and slightly damp, with moderate temperatures. This culminated in a frenzy of color!!!!!

Giveaway!!!!!

It's been a relatively quiet weekend around here. Spent a few hours Saturday in the office, and then the rest of the day working around Tuckaway. There is just never enough time in the day to get everything accomplished on the to-do list!!!

While shopping at Target yesterday, I was getting my Mom a Mother's Day card, and realized how much I miss getting one for my Grandma. So, instead, I decided to do a giveaway to another Mom or Grandma. You don't have to be a Mom or Grandma though to enter, just leave a comment, and I'll draw a winner at random next Sunday....Mother's Day, in case you forgot!!!!

My Mom and Dad just returned from a trip to New Mexico to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The actual anniversary was June 2 of 2012, but Mon was still recovering from chemo, so the trip was postponed a bit.
