While shopping at Target yesterday, I was getting my Mom a Mother's Day card, and realized how much I miss getting one for my Grandma. So, instead, I decided to do a giveaway to another Mom or Grandma. You don't have to be a Mom or Grandma though to enter, just leave a comment, and I'll draw a winner at random next Sunday....Mother's Day, in case you forgot!!!!
My Mom and Dad just returned from a trip to New Mexico to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The actual anniversary was June 2 of 2012, but Mon was still recovering from chemo, so the trip was postponed a bit.

Wait, what's the "giveaway"? I must admit that I'm drinking right now so perhaps it's there but I'm totally missing it. I did pick up on your parent' anniversary and if I'm right, it's coming up on 51 years. Uh oh, I better type faster, I feel myself slipping away.
Anyway, I'm hoping that it's your Mom's wedding dress. My Claire would look totally awesome in that in say 15 years or so.

Not sure what the giveaway will be yet, but be assured it will be fabulous!!!! Since I am the closest thing to a daughter my Mom had, and my thigh wouldn't fit in that dress, she may be convinced to loan it for Claire's wedding. It is a beautiful dress, and I bet Mom can still fit in to it!!!!
