Pure Heaven

Well, it's that time of year again, and we get so excited for those heavenly Girl Scout Cookies!!!  Unfortunately no little girls come knocking on our door, so we have to resort to buying these decadent little goodies from co-workers.

Which are your faves!!!!!
Mine happen to be the ever-popular Thin Mints!!!!!

Now, most of you know that I love LOVE chocolate in almost any form, but I also really like Peanut Butter.  Bear with me for a moment, and give it a try before you judge me!   Take a plate full of Thin Mints and spread a thin layer of peanut butter on the flat side, then sandwich another cookie with the first one.  Pop them in the freezer for an hour or so, and you'll have pure heaven!!!!
This is unfortunately one "sleeve" of cookies (OK, minus two that I had to eat plain) which yields only 7 little sandwiches.  Come on girls!!!!  The price on a box of these devils is $3.50, and now the quantities in each box has been cut too, haven't you heard we're in the middle of a recession for cryin' out loud!!!

Just kidding, you'll know I'll be back for more, 6 boxes is just never enough!!!!!

Peace!  Kent

I always put a box or two in the freezer to enjoy in July! It's almost decadent....eating a frozen Thin Mint in the middle of summer!

Have you tried Chocolate Coolwhip between these, oh boy those are a sin. The hubby likes the Samoas, I always buy him three boxes and a carton of Permalat milk, he just melts over that treat.

I'm so not a cookie person. Put a pickle in a cookie and then maybe we'll talk, but when our book club met at Ann's house, she had her niece laying in wait - we all ordered. And you know, they're pretty good. I got a lemon thing and a chocolate thing - Ian likes chocolate. I love the girls and how hard they work. They're Girls Scouts of America and it's such a good part of America, doncha think?

OMGosh..... I am definitely going to try the chocolate cool whip, that sounds horribly good. As for a pickle in a cookie, not so much, although I do love pickles too!!!!
